Perhaps it’s the curmudgeon I’m becoming (I seem to be getting grumpier daily) but I refuse to order anything other than small, medium and large: they are perfectly acceptable adjectives that accurately describe the relative sizes of virtually any three items. If you don’t know what I mean when I use those descriptors, you’re a moron.

Maybe it’s a guy thing: Some men don’t like to be referred to as “medium” and won’t even answer to “small!”
