An early Christmas gift
At this year’s Comic Con, I saw previews from several upcoming films that I’m eager to see. But none moreso than this one, which comes out on Christmas day. This trailer gives only a hint at the wonder and fun I saw in the clips Terry Gilliam screened from “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.”

At the end of the trailer it announces a release date of October 16. Even better!

That’s the UK release date. It’s still slated for a Christmas release here in the U.S.

They get it before us? IT’S OBAMA’S FAULT!

Why do “they” really get it before us?
Probably because:
a) it’s where Gilliam lives
b) it’s probably independently financed and produced (with a major studio
here just acting as distributor)
c) because said major studio probably thinks it’s better as a Christmas
release
d) because they may be pursuing an Oscar campaign; movies released earlier
get forgotten
e) because they’re anti-American knaves!!!
