Wasted talents
Slate recounts how John Edwards kept his affair hidden for more than two years while maintaining his high-profile job hunt. (Ultimately, we hired someone else. Thankfully.) Anyone this devious would’ve been wasted in the White House. Note to spy agencies domestic and foreign: He’s available.

Watching Andrew Young interview on Chris Matthews. An author of a book that continued his relationship with a truly amoral train-wreck. Imagine keeping your soul ‘in hock’ so that you could get the material for a book.
The other thing: Edwards ought to be disbarred. The trial lawyers association ought to be put on notice for it’s connection to this lie, and for putting their own money into keeping ‘their guy’ in line to go into the White House and be their ‘ringer’/’stringer’. Who wants a guy like that in the White House? I’d rather see him just be nowheresville from here on out – to never be able to keep a public persona in play ever again, for that kind of narcissist, the biggest punishment of all. Think Glenn Close at the end of Dangerous Liaisons. Not even Spitzer is on Edwards’ level, he’s just a flat out rat-fucker.
His wife Elizabeth would make a great Attorney General, or CIA chief. An honest intellect – imagine such a thing. Beneficence under the control of genuine critical thinking. She has it. Sadly, life is a big fucking cheat sometimes. Sometimes – it’s not.
When you refer to the ‘Thankfully’ better outcome of the 2008 election of President Obama, you speak volumes that the Republicans cannot bring themselves to read.
Cheers.
