    Just a quick off-the-top reaction: JEE-ZUS!

  2. Jim Markley Says:

The tax cuts were not made made permanent at their inception due to Democrat opposition in the House. Bush wanted perm. cuts, but this was the only way to get any tax cuts at all. But as to footage: shame on you, Hannity. You should know better.

  3. Paul Says:

This is not the first time Hannity has “edited” comments. Dueling the 2009 health care squabbles Hannity took a quote from Obama and left out one important word, “not”. Obama had said insurance industry executives were not bad people, they were just doing their jobs. Hannity dropped the word “not” to make it sound like Obama said they were bad people. The sad thing is that so many will believe him and never know he was being deceitful.

Note that he credits The Daily Show for catching this. I’m becoming more and more convinced that the closest thing to unbiased news coverage you’re going to find on TV is on Comedy Central. And just think, when Madison was writing The Federalist Papers, that was the level of political discourse they engaged in. Progress, eh?
