Why everything is falling apart

Because the gays are getting married.

Which will not be news to the pastor in Ohio.

Who ever this dude is, GOD BLESS HIM! It surely is obvious that the gays are getting married, why, right here in my new hometown of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey (actually I live in Devonshire, but it’s a long story) the very proper church ladies of the St. John’s United Church of Christ have decided to return their franchise option to the National Council of the United Churches of Christ because (drum roll please) they have begun to BLESS uh…you know the ‘unions’ of THOSE people…gives me another fine reason for sleeping in on a Sunday morning, I can’t wait to be turning on a spit for an eon or three for having done so either! Reminds me of a lesbian nun, she taught me in 8th grade, we didn’t know she was ‘that way’ back then, but I saw her late in 2005 at a funeral and I called her ‘Sister Margie’…well she said, Joe don’t call me Sister any more, I had to quit when I found out that I no longer had a pension coming to me. I love REAL people, they amuse me endlessly!!!! Reality as you know, is the most difficult of all the theoretical concepts to grasp. Once you can fake that, you’ve got it all dicked!

Loved the song. Loved the video. Does anyone else remember an earlier tune called — I believe — “Blame It On The Stones”, which laid responsibility for many evils at the feet of Mick and Keith and the other lads? Hey, I’m so old I can remember when it was all the fault of those darned comic books.

Eeek! That is a great video. Thanks.

The video highlights one of those great non-news events that people turn to when real news and real events are too difficult to deal with. Oh the sanctity of marriage is going down the drain because of gay marriage. Yes, the sanctity of marriage, which can be ended through divorce or annulment – unless you’re Catholic who believe in the sanctity of marriage, and the sanctity of pregnancy but not, evidently, the sanctity of children – you know, as in being protected from molestation by their church leaders – fah!

Yes, the sanctity of marriage, even those that last less than 1/2 a year, even those that include one or both members cheating on their spouse, even those that are loveless, neurotic, pain inducing, child twisting.

Let’s invade countries and force freedom on their populace, and keep refusing to allow citizens of our own country to have the same freedoms as other citizens have.

    Oy!
