It distresses me how little attention art gets in the mainstream. I recently rented the movie “Conversations with Frank Gehry”, about the revolutionary architect, and enjoyed it very much. I also recommend the art magazine, Juxtapoz.
I hope this artist got paid well for the commercial. His art is exciting and beautiful and obviously BMW wants to be thought of that way. I don’t know much about the BMW company, but I’m glad if they gave this artist some money.
Loved it. Funny though, it ran thru my head that this particular commercial hasn’t been shown on basic television on the East Coast. Who would be the target market?
