A sharp answer

Finally, an answer to one of the most pointed questions around:  “Why do boys (including my own) like sticks?

    All this time, I thought, or was taught to believe that it’s Erikson’s levels of development that one should follow in order to root these things out.

    INDUSTRY Vs. the BIG BAD WORLD of INFERIORITY is what this is all about, and it’s
    how Erikson would have viewed the world of boys and sticks. I thought sticks were
    the coolest toy in the galaxy.

    When I was a little boy, my friend Chris and I made a fully functioning main control
    panel for the Jupiter 2 spacecraft from Lost In Space one afternoon using only sticks.
    They also made SUPERCOOL ray guns and communications devices.

    1964, when it was worth a stick or two to make a cell phone, it’s much costlier now of course.
